The Women of Today is an exceptional service organization for women age 18 and older who wish to make new friends, learn and establish leadership skills, and voluntarily contribute to their community, state, and nation. Local projects include the Turtle Town Art Fair, Photos with Santa and Santa's Elves, Toys for Kids, and the annual holiday Cookie Walk. The group also contributes to local Chamber events, the food shelf, the ice skating rink, NorthlandFamily Center, Little Sand Group Home, and local scholarships.

Women of Today believe strongly in service to others. Activities are conducted to educate the chapter members along with the members of the community in a variety of ways. We volunteer hours to local organizations as well as coordinate events to raise money for charitable causes.

Visit one of their meetings: the second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Longville.
