For some folks, traveling in their RV is the way to go. Being mobile and having their "Own place" is their thing. Many of our "Up North" resorts offer campgrounds that are available on both a daily and seasonal basis and also have tenting areas.
Several primative campsites are listed below or check with the many resorts listed below for availability and fees, or RV hook-ups and bathroom facilities. | |
- Foothills State Forest
To the South and West of Hackensack is the Foothills State Forest with several primitive camp sites; not too far from the Paul Bunyan Trail.
- Woodtick Trail
North and East of Hackensack is the Woodtick Trail, winding from Hwy 371 to the city of Longville. Several primative campsites are also available on the many smaller lakes in this area.
