Longville Area Community Foundation
|
| The Longville Area Community Foundation was created in 1992 by residents with a vision for the community and its people. Since 1992, the Foundation has had many members, funded many projects, organizations and individuals through the 'Neighbor to Neighbor' project.
In the last year, the Foundation has donated over $10,000 to the following organizations and projects:
- Camp Olson YMCA
- Cass County Canine Unit
- Friends of the Library: Longville History Book
- Longville Area Food Shelf
- Longville Area Women of Today
- Longville Area Community Choir
- Longville Fire Department
- Longville Lakes Clinic

- Northland Area Family Center

| The Annual Membership Meeting & Family Picnic is in early August The Holiday Dinner & Fundraiser is in early December The Foundation Board meets on a monthly basis.

Longville Area Women of Today

| The Longville Area Women of Today is a non-profit, volunteer organization that has many interesting programs and projects for everyone. We offer the opportunity to develop close friendships with women who share similar interests. Our focus is on community service, personal growth, and friendship. Some of the organizations we support are:
- Longville Area Food Shelf
- Relay for Life
- Youth and community involvement
- Focus on Women
- Raising funds for local organizations
- Giving to charitable causes

Longville Lions Club
|
| The Longville Lions Club was founded in 1976 and follows a proud tradition of community service and leadership. We have challenging programs to meet the social and civic needs of this community. You can choose those projects that meet your schedule both in terms of time constraints and family obligations. The Lions were the largest contributor in our area over the fiscal 2002-2003 period. During that 12 month time period, the Lions raised and donated over $58,000 towards the following programs:

Longville Lakes SnoMobile Club
|
| Our club was originated on October 10, 1978 with a membership of approximately 18 members. Over the years our membership has grown to 130. We own and operate a 2000 Bombardier and a 1998 ASV to maintain over 100 miles of our trail system. We are all volunteers and known as the "Geezer Patrol". We have one fund raiser a year and it's held the second Saturday in January.
Our trails are the Chippewa West and South, The Woodlake, Triville and the Lost Girl trail. We groom the trails on Tuesdays and Fridays. Please have a safe ride and see ya on the trails.
We meet the 1st Thursday of each month at 7 pm. Phone 566-2785 for location.
