30K Run + 5 Mile Run & 5 Mile Walk + Recreational Bike Ride
Saturday, May 6, 2017
A great tune-up for “Grandma’s Marathon” and the entire 2017 running season! The 30K course is certified and the race is sanctioned by US Track & Field. The 5-mile Walk and Run are timed.

And, as an added bonus, there’s a recreational bike ride that follows the same scenic 30K course as the run around Woman Lake. Perfect for non-running friends and family members who still want to get out and enjoy the outdoors.

The race committee invites you to beautiful North Central Minnesota! We hope you have a great race! The Run Around Woman Plus is always on the First Saturday of May. This event is sanctioned and Certified by USA Track and Field. Download the Run Around Woman Registration Form.

The 30K run meanders around beautiful Woman Lake on blacktopped state and county roads. You’ll run through a portion of the Chippewa National Forest and along the shore of Woman Lake.

For the shorter distance runner and walker, a 5-mile run and walk starts and ends in the center of Longville along County Road 5.

A family bike ride joins our popular Run Around Woman, following the same scenic course around beautiful Woman Lake. This event is not timed, so it’s perfect for families or friends wanting to enjoy a spring Saturday bike ride together.
