The annual Longville Ice Bocce
Tournament is held the first Saturday of February on Girl Lake in front of
Patrick's Fine Dining. The 6th annual event in 2012 saw 68 teams
take to the ice. Spectators were treated to hot competition on the
cold ice, and the weather cooperated beautifully -- it was sunny,
beautiful, and relatively warm (for February).
Teams consist of 4 people and must be co-ed
(max of 2 Men--may have additional Women).
The competition is limited to 70 teams.
Tournament coordinator Craig Johnson urges players to register
early, as the roster fills up fast.

Cash prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and
4th place teams and a trophy is presented to the champions. There
are also cash prizes for
best team name and best dressed team.
Patrick's Fine Dining is open for food and beverages and to
offer a warm place for participants. Registration the day of the
tournament begins at 9 AM, with competition beginning at 10 AM.
