We celebrate Independence Day on the actual 4th of July, so come and enjoy the parade, food, and all-day fun, right in downtown Longville.
2020 List of Events
9:30 a.m. – FREE Inflatables for the kids.
10:00 a.m. – The Food Court opens with lots of goodies including food by the Longville Chamber, Bake Sale from Young-At-Heart Senior Club, and Walking Tacos by the Longville Lions.
10:00 a.m. – STAGING FOR PARADE will begin in the Salem Lutheran Church parking lot.
11:00 a.m. – PARADE begins, followed by kids’ races, games, contests and prizes for all ages.
DUSK – Longville’s spectacular FIREWORKS display will take place over Girl Lake.

Looking for a safe and fun way to celebrate Halloween in the north woods? This event is just for you. A FREE family friendly event held on the shores of Little Boy Lake, the Halloween Spooktacular has something for everyone. Bring the kids out to a community event that is guaranteed to be SPOOKtacular! **Bring a food shelf item to donate.**
This event is co-sponsored by the Longville Chamber of Commerce and Camp Olson YMCA. The Camp is located south of Longville on County Road 54.

4-6 p.m. Downtown Longville, always the Saturday after Thanksgiving and always free. Enjoy horse-and-wagon rides, a bonfire, hotdogs, hot chocolate and cookies, and Christmas carols.
5:20 p.m. The official town Christmas tree lights are illuminated to celebrate the rest of the holiday season.
