“Fall Has It All!” @ Longville, Hackensack, Remer & Walker

For 17 days, the communities of Longville, Remer, Hackensack and Walker combine to celebrate our glorious lakes area autumn.

2018 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS will also be published in area newspapers.

With the purchase of a $4 “Fall Has It All” button, you qualify for discounts galore in all four communities throughout the 17-day celebration. Buttons are on sale at local Chamber member businesses.

  Saturday, Sept. 16OKTOBERFEST ALL DAY LONG!

12 noon – “Quick Draw” Art Contest with Tom Kutsheid featuring contestants representing organizations, merchants, families and other groups. Paintings will be judged at the dance, then sold via silent auction. Proceeds benefit local “first responders.”

Fall “Booya” Dinner Fundraising Event @ Union Congregational Church
Sep 27 @ 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm

“Booya” is a rich stew, slow-cooked to perfect overnight in a giant cauldron with several kinds of meats and vegetables.  Add sour dough bread and live music and you have a superb evening of good food and fun!

Start off this Chainsaw Weekend in Hackensack and be a part of Fall Has It All!

Benefit the programs of Faith in Action – Cass County.

We celebrate Independence Day on the actual 4th of July, so come and enjoy the parade, food, and all-day fun, right in downtown Longville.

2019 List of Events  

9:30 a.m. – FREE Inflatables for the kids.

10:00 a.m. – The Food Court opens with lots of goodies including food by the Longville Chamber, Bake Sale from Young-At-Heart Senior Club, and Walking Tacos by the Longville Lions.

10:00 a.m. – STAGING FOR PARADE will begin in the Salem Lutheran Church parking lot.

11:00 a.m. – PARADE begins, followed by kids’ races, games, contests and prizes for all ages.

DUSK – Longville’s spectacular FIREWORKS display will take place over Girl Lake.
