Lots of love for area elderly
Nearly 80 area youth participated in the Longville Chamber of Commerce’s Adopt a Grandparent Valentine Card Contest. Cards were distributed to brighten the day of area nursing home residents and shut-ins. All prize winning cards can be viewed at Lori’s Luvs in Longville.
Here are the winners of all three categories, from left to right in each division:
AGES 0-4:
1st Place: Cora Seifert (age 2); 2nd place: Lavin Lavallee (age 4); 3rd place: Sawyer Kutschied (age 2).
AGES 5-8:
1st Place: Hannie Barfield (age 8); 2nd Place: Mia Robinson (age 7); 3rd Place: Morgan Seifert (age 8).
AGES 9-12:
1st Place: Nesika Bellville (age 12); 2nd Place: Michaela Johnson (age 12); 3rd Place: Alice (age 10).
