Community Support Powers Longville’s 20th Annual Winter Fireworks
The Longville Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our 20th Annual Winter Fireworks celebration such a success. Events like this are only possible because of the incredible support we receive from our community.
The day began with the popular Chili Cook-Off at the Docksider, which once again brought together residents and visitors for a fun afternoon of friendly competition and great food. Many thanks to Sara Putnam and Tiffany Lyon for coordinating the event, as well as the volunteers and contributors who helped make it possible, including the Loving Hands Quilt Club, John Lyon with Camp Olson, and the Anchorage Inn.
We would also like to give a special thank you to Patrick’s on Girl Lake for generously allowing the use of their property for the fireworks display. Their continued support helps provide a beautiful location for the community to gather and enjoy the show.
The fireworks themselves, provided by North Star Fireworks, were a spectacular way to end the evening and light up the winter sky over Girl Lake.
This event would not be possible without the generous donations and support from many local businesses and individuals. We would like to recognize the following supporters:
Pine Cone Press Citizen, Musky House Marine, Northlakes Auto, Chris Nornberg Automotive, Property Solutions, Epic Excavating, Full Stringer Bait & Tackle, The One Stop, Ace–Longville Builders Supply, BRICO Builders, Lake Region Builders, Precision Woodworking, Lakeland Interior Design, True North Construction, Common Grounds 218, Deer Haven on Thunder, Frosty’s, Longville Turtle Town Café, Patrick’s on Girl Lake, The Woodpile Up North Eatery & Mini Golf Course, GuidePoint Pharmacy, First National Bank, Counselor Realty – Pat Boen, Heartland Real Estate – Melanie Mix, Moran Realty, Empowered Fitness, Team LaVallee, Lazy Days, Pine & Paddle, Tabaka’s Family Foods, Little Boy Resort & Campground, Longville Campground, City of Longville, Longville Area Community Foundation, Longville Lions Club, Longville Area Women of Today, Colette Anderson, Dave Spartz, Judy Blundell, Kathy Dollins, Phyllis Eck, Sharon Gilsrud, Fred T.
